"Neptune: Spiritual or escape urge. Beguiling, relaxing, obscuring, transmuting influence. Chemical energy. Symbol of sacrifice (the Hangman in the Tarot Cards), resignation, compassion, atonement, pity, mystery, intrigue, guile, psychism, occultism, psychic perception, vision and dreams, trance states, passivity, elusiveness, distortion, deception, misconception, evasiveness, fraud, procrastination, transmutation, inspiration, idealism, intuition, nonresistance, great spiritual strength, or moral weakness and tendency to follow a line of least resistance.

In a strong character it indicates spiritual guidance and protection. In a weak character it brings out desire to avoid responsibility.

Neptune absorbs, masks, deceives, conceals, confuses, entices, beguiles, tempts, dissipates, secretes, distorts, cheats, hypnotizes, deludes, inflates, sublimates, solaces, reveals, inspires, transcends."

Neptunian atmospheres are created and enjoyed throughout the world... When the dark falls on the Earth, candles are lit, incense is burnt, music of nature whispers in the background... wine of all reds echoes the richness of the land in a smile.

The romanticism born out of that particular kind of atmosphere does... indeed... bring the Venus inside of us to a higher octave of manifestation. From the fertile green of Venus to the healing aquamarine of Neptune, the purity of white has been added.

- I have always had a great interest in Neptune, the great dissolver...of the real and not so real.... I have Nep. in Libra in the 2nd in mutual reception with Venus in Picses in the 7th......and with Nep the ruler of the 8th, it has given me a chance to help others thru the healing arts of nursing, and Astrology as well as great insight into understanding myself....
